Internationally Recognized Safety Standards

AOP Solid Alkali has been tested for its safety by internationally accredited testing, inspection and certification bodies such as SGS and TUV SUD.

The technology meets the European Chemicals Agency’s (EHCA) rigorous Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) standards, has cleared acute toxicity tests, and has been proven safe for long-term within permissible exposure levels.

1 With reference to FeiFan Standard Technical Service (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. report number FTS202101018009, dated 12 Jan 2021, the antiviral activity rate of the AOP-KF® Non-woven cloth was 99.27% for Respiratory synctial virus and 99.35% for H1N1 after 2 hours.

2 With reference to Kitasato Research Centre for Environmental Science report number K.S.H. 2019_No. 0119, dated 24 Sep 2019, AOP-KF® solid alkali particles achieved a Escherichia coli phage decrement rate of >99.96% after 6 hours.

3 With reference to Guang Zhou Institute of Microbiology Group Co., Ltd. report numbers WJ20233193, WJ20233049, and WJ20234430 dated 18 Sep 2024, 8 Sep 2023, and 21 Dec 2023 respectively, based on a contact time of 18 hours, the kill rate of AOP-KF Non-Woven cloth on Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes was 99%, and >99% for Candida albicans

4 With reference to TÜV SÜD PSB Pte Ltd report number 7191337038-CHM24-01-YL, dated 14 August 2024. AOP-KF® solid alkali’s performance was far superior to other filters, completely removing formaldehyde in just 8 minutes. The formaldehyde clean air delivery rate (CADR) was 581.57 m3/hour, over 30 times the rate of other tested filters.

5 With reference to Centre Testing International (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.. report  A2230476493101001C dated 25 Sep 2023, using test methodology T/SDPIA 05-2022 C, AOP cat litter was able to remove 99% of the odor of ammonia.
